Welcome to the Voorhees PTA!

We are so excited that you are part of our community. We hope you take advantage of all the programs, events and volunteer opportunities that the PTA has to offer.  The PTA is a volunteer organization made up of parents, teachers, administrators, and support staff dedicated to the success of our children.

PTA Mission: To make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

Membership

Joining the PTA is EASY!  Simply go to voorheesob.memberhub.com.  PTA dues are $8.  Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles are all welcome to join.  When you join you are not only becoming a part of our school PTA, but also a part of a national organization that advocates on behalf of all children.

In order to volunteer for ANY school events you must be a paid member;  this is for insurance purposes. Our budget and financial documents are available for view at PTA meetings and any Executive Board member will be happy to answer any questions you may have.  A financial review is conducted each year. The Voorhees PTA is a 501(C)3 non for profit organization. All donations are tax deductible and all PTA fundraising directly benefits the students at Voorhees.

WHY should you join?

*Get Connected. There’s no better way to know what’s happening in your school.

*Discover Great Resources. The PTA offers a variety of programs designed for parents as well as students.

*Tap into a Network. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, building rapport and discussing issues that are on your mind.

*Watch Yourself Grow. By volunteering with your PTA, you put your skills and hobbies to use for a great cause.

*Speak Up. PTA can be a way for you to more effectively suggest change at your child’s school.

*Witness Improvement. By getting involved at your child’s school you’ll be part of the solution, helping make positive changes. Local PTA's play an important role in fundraising to provide building improvements, curriculum-based programs, and social events.

*Be a Role Model. By becoming a PTA member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.

*Enjoy Substantial Benefits. Individuals and local units can take advantage of a host of benefits from PTA membership including discounts and offers from benefit providers and sponsors, magazine subscriptions, leadership training, e-newsletters and much more. To see a full list of benefit providers, click here to go to the national PTA website

*Become a PTA member and join more than 5 million other people who share your interest in issues affecting children. Everyone—parents, educators, students and other citizens active in their schools and communities—is invited to join our not-for-profit parent association.

Thank you for your support!!
